Semple Designs came about from first attending woodwork night classes in 2012 to see if I could get back the interest that was there a few years before. 

Between 2012 to the end of 2014 I started upcycling furniture for myself. By doing this I was learning the certain finishes I was looking for.

In 2015 I used the knowledge gained along with the requirement for certain items within my own home. I also started a Facebook page called "My Woodwork Hobby" to let others follow my progress of learning with each new project tried.

One of these items I designed was the 6 drawer and bulldog clip wall unit. 

Number one of this design is still on the wall in the my kitchen.

At the end of 2016 the 2 drawer clip wall unit was designed.

These units are now starting to become a popular item along with the 6 drawer unit, for their simplicity, practabily and one comment from a customer was their "cuteness".

2017 is the year that my facebook page changed from My Woodwork Hobby into Semple Designs.

I work making these items part time mostly everynight.

I do try to have a stock of completed items so nobody is having to wait to long. However with the items becoming ever popular I could have a waiting list during peak demand times. 

This journey is only beginning as I still have new designs to create and always open to new ideas within my capabilities.
